DIVORCE WITHOUT WAR is a process in which
expert Family Law Mediators, who have been
certified by the Florida Supreme Court, assist
couples in structuring a peaceful divorce
settlement which includes issues involving
children, timesharing plans, child support,
distribution of assets and liabilities, alimony
and all other issues that are special to your
case. When agreement is reached, all of the
documents are prepared for filing for the divorce
at the courthouse. The service is provided based
upon a sliding fee schedule. |

Helen Stein is a Florida Supreme
Court Certified Family and Dependency Law Mediator.
Ms. Stein earned her Doctor of
Jurisprudence from St. John’s University School of Law
in 1985 and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ithaca
College in 1981. She is a member of the New York State
Bar and the Florida State Bar.
Ms. Stein
served for several years on the Florida Bar Juvenile
Rules Committee and she was an adjunct professor at
Miami-Dade Community College where she taught a family
law course.
Ms. Stein has extensive experience
representing abused and neglected children. For many
years Ms. Stein served in leadership roles in
organizations whose missions are to provide legal
representation to children.
Ms. Stein
has been an invited presenter at several conferences
regarding children’s rights including the Governor’s
Commission for the Unmet Legal Needs of Children, The
Florida Bar Children’s Legal Services Conference and the
American Bar Association’s 10th Annual
National Conference. She has also served on various
local boards of organizations that provide and support
children’s services.
Ms. Stein is
divorced and remarried, is the mother of four children,
and has first- hand experience in the divorce process.

Lisa
Millhauser is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family,
Circuit Civil and Dependency Law Mediator and an
Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.
Ms.
Millhauser earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the
University of Miami in 1981 and a Bachelor of Arts
Degree from Tulane University in 1978. She is a member
of the Florida State Bar.
Ms.
Millhauser has mediated and has presided over as an
Arbitrator hundreds of cases since 1991. She has
facilitated agreements covering a wide range of topics
which include, family matters such as custody,
visitation, asset distribution and support, commercial
contracts, real estate controversies, business disputes,
and more.
Ms.
Millhauser is an active member of the Dispute Resolution
Center in Florida and served as a Panelist at an Annual
Dispute Resolution Center Conference on the topic of
breaking impasse.
Ms.
Millhauser is married and is the mother of two teen-age
children.

Susan Keyes is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family
Mediator.
Ms. Keyes earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the
George Washington University in 1988 and a Bachelor of
Arts Degree from Tulane University in 1985. She is a
member of the Florida State Bar and the New York State
Bar.
Susan Keyes has practiced extensively in the area of
family law for nearly twenty years. She has been the
mediator and has participated as an attorney
representing a husband or a wife in hundreds of cases.
Ms. Keyes has facilitated agreements covering a wide
range of topics, which include custody, visitation,
time-sharing, asset distribution, simple and complex
financial and support matters.
Ms.
Keyes has been actively involved in organizations such
as the Children’s Home Society and Kidside, both of
which provide services to children.
Ms. Keyes is married and is the mother of two daughters.

First Conference-NO CHARGE
B.
The Supreme Court requires that detailed
financial affidavits be completed and filed by each
party as well as child support guideline forms when
there are children of the marriage.
These requirements cannot
be waived even when there has been complete
agreement between the parties.
Our charge is
$850 per couple which provides up to three hours of
conference time to arrive at a settlement and assistance
in preparing these forms.
Most cases
can be resolved within the three hours of mediation
time. Any additional time necessary is $300 per hour
per couple.
C.
When an Agreement is reached, we will prepare all
of the documents necessary for the couple to complete
the divorce process, including the Marital Settlement Agreement, the
Petition, Answer and Final Judgment of Dissolution of
Marriage (Divorce). The fee for the document preparation
work is based upon gross annual family income as
